Mother Hunger Facilitator Guidelines and Directory Standards
To remain listed as a Mother Hunger Facilitator on Kelly McDaniel’s website, facilitators are asked to complete the updated training and review process outlined below.
Requirements for Remaining Listed
Facilitators must complete the following:
- Complete the online refresher course Supporting Adult Daughters with Insecure Attachment: Understanding Mother Hunger to Treat Attachment Wounds. This self-paced course provides 3.25 CE credits upon completion.
- Read the new edition of Mother Hunger. Facilitators will receive a PDF copy of the new edition and are expected to review the new material.
- Complete two one-hour case consultations with Kelly. Consultation hours open in July and can be booked at this link.
- Attend the live group update meeting held on Wednesday, August 19 at 7 pm EST. Live attendance is preferred, but a recording will be available for those unable to attend live.
- Agree to these updated facilitator guidelines and directory standards
Facilitator Standards
Mother Hunger Facilitators agree to:
- Represent Mother Hunger work accurately and respectfully
- Stay familiar with Kelly McDaniel’s current teaching and language around Mother Hunger
- Practice within their own professional scope, training, and credentials
- Follow all applicable ethical, legal, and licensing standards in their own work
- Protect client confidentiality in all consultations, discussions, and case examples
- Use de-identified case material when consulting with Kelly or in group settings
- Keep their directory profile accurate and notify Kelly McDaniel Therapy of any needed updates
- Avoid presenting themselves as employees, representatives, or agents of Kelly McDaniel Therapy unless that has been separately agreed in writing
- Avoid implying that directory listing guarantees referrals, endorsement, income, or clinical supervision
Directory Listing Terms
Listing on Kelly McDaniel’s website is offered at the discretion of Kelly McDaniel Therapy.
To remain listed, facilitators must complete the required refresher process and continue to follow the facilitator standards. Kelly McDaniel Therapy may update these standards as the work grows and may remove or pause a listing if requirements are not completed, information becomes inaccurate, or the facilitator’s conduct does not align with these guidelines.
The Mother Hunger Facilitator listing is intended to help members of the public and professionals locate practitioners who have completed Mother Hunger training. It is not a guarantee of clinical fit, licensure, availability, referrals, or outcomes.
Facilitators remain independent practitioners and are responsible for their own professional services, client relationships, recordkeeping, informed consent, fees, insurance, licensure, and legal obligations.
Materials and Intellectual Property
Training materials, course content, consultation materials, recordings, worksheets, and the PDF copy of Mother Hunger are provided for personal professional learning only.
Facilitators need written permission in order to distribute, sell, or repurpose Kelly McDaniel’s materials.
Agreement
By completing the updated facilitator process and remaining listed on the Mother Hunger Facilitator directory, facilitators agree to follow these guidelines and directory standards.
